The Ford Kent and Lotus Twin Cam engines have oil pickup surge issues during hard cornering or acceleration.
The Mountune Oil Control System includes an engineered baffled oil sump insert developed by our racing division that features one-way gates and diverters to maintain the oil supply around the oil pump pick-up. This weld-in kit includes mounting plates and hardware. Validated under extreme conditions, the Mountune Oil Control System is perfect for track day use or other hard driving conditions. Designed for "front bowl" sumps as found in the MK1 and MK2 Cortina, Lotus Cortina, Lotus Elan, and Lotus Europa.
This version is for rope seal engines and can be used when converting rope seal engines to lip seal pans.
